Dog Walking In Prestwich

When your pet cant be with you either at home or away I personally feel  having their Dog walker Dog Sitting with them in the dogs own home is the best possible option. It also provides the benefit of added security for your home and care for other pets and plants. Home visits are available for cats and other small animals even in the absence of dogs. Home sitting is also available in the absence of any pets.

Finding a good dog walker, dog sitter or dog boarder

There will shortly follow a detailed piece on the perils of bad dog walkers but in the meantime here's a short list of the basics.

1) Do you have a trusted family member friend or neighbour with a good dog walker or dog sitter? ask them.

 2) Check the internet check out their reviews on multiple platforms and ask to contact their customers, if they are genuine reviews they will try and accommodate this.

 3) Talk to professional dog walkers when your out and about, perhaps you might not get a good referral but you might find out who to avoid.

 4) If you have the opportunity when your out with your dog study the local walkers find out

 A) Who's walking too many dogs.

B) Who's leaving dogs in vehicles while they are walking others

C) Check with the council licensing departmentt that your dog boarder is licensed

5) I can't stress  strongly enough the importance of having a local walker living close by to maintain high standards of reliability and flexibility.

This may seem all too obvious but the amount of people who don't do any of this is astounding but hopefully can be improved or remedied.

THANK YOU 2019

Owners typically have once or twice daily 1 hour Dog  Walks for their dogs. Dog Walks are  enjoyed in a variety of locations and can be tailored to the age health fitness and type of dog. Ball and Frisbee play can be included where possible. Dog Walks are for a minimum of an hour and transportation time is not part of their walk time. Dogs will never be walked in overly large numbers and each will get individual attention.
